Free Healthcare From KP Government: Bringing one more piece of good news for Pakistani people. Two million people will get free healthcare from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government. This is a similar initiative launched by the Punjab government with the name of Shehat Card.
Since the Sehat Card started seven years ago, the KPK government has offered totally free healthcare to two million citizens, with people in the 30–50 age range being the main recipients.
A report created by the Sehat Card Plus program states that since 2015, 552,266 KP inhabitants in the 31–50 age group, and 500,506 in the 11–30 age group used the cashless healthcare system.
Moreover, 121,951 children under the age of 10 and 149,629 adults over the age of 71 were recipients of the PTI government’s signature micro-health Insurance initiative.

With the help of the German bank KfW, the initiative was introduced in four areas in 2015, serving 3% of the province’s population. It was expanded to 51% of the populace the next year, 69% in 2017, and the whole province in 2020.
According to the report, the initiative now includes all 9.7 million families in the province, including both established tribal areas and those that have recently amalgamated.
