Good News for Pakistan on Monday, the 31st of October 2022, the nation’s newest low-cost carrier, Fly Jinnah, made its inaugural flight from Karachi to Islamabad airport, where it was greeted with the customary salute from the water cannon.

The airline had the first flight’s inaugural ceremony to officially launch its operations, in a nearby hotel. Senior executives from the Lakson Group, Air Arabia Group, and other organizations as well as officials of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority attended the event.

The Lakson and Air Arabia firms declared their decision to create a joint venture airline with Karachi as its hub in September 2021.

The airline now offers direct daily flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar using a fleet of three Airbus A320-200 aircraft. It offers four weekly direct flights between Quetta and Karachi. More details about flights can be found on their official website.
