Ask three agents for a price and you will get three different numbers, all “final”. This comparison of Umrah package prices in Pakistan cuts through that by doing two things: every figure below is a clearly labelled estimated range checked in November 2026, and the structure shows you exactly what you are paying for at each level, from a shared-room economy trip to a 5-star stay on the Haram’s doorstep.

How Umrah package prices in Pakistan are built
A package price is five costs stacked together: the visa channel (an estimated PKR 45,000 to 65,000 through a MORA-attested operator, including the official SAR 300 Saudi visa fee and mandatory insurance), return airfare, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, ground transport, and the operator’s service fee. Of these, the hotel line is where prices explode or collapse. A bed in a quad room a shuttle ride from the Haram and a double room overlooking it can differ by more than the cost of the flight. When you compare quotes, compare the hotel names and distances first; everything else is secondary.
Economy, standard and 5-star, side by side (estimated)
For a 14-day trip outside peak season, checked November 2026, the market shapes up like this. Economy (quad sharing, hotels 800 metres or more from the Haram with shuttle buses, one checked bag flights): an estimated PKR 270,000 to 390,000 per person. Standard (triple or double sharing, hotels within roughly 300 to 500 metres, better flight timings): an estimated PKR 420,000 to 560,000. 5-star (the branded towers on or beside the Haram plaza in Makkah and the front rows in Madinah, breakfast included, private transfers): an estimated PKR 600,000 to 850,000 and beyond, with Haram-view suites at the very top. Shorter trips scale down rather than halve: a 7-day economy package sits at an estimated PKR 230,000 to 320,000, because the visa and flight costs do not shrink with your stay. See live prices before relying on any of this: established sellers such as SastaTicket publish current packages, and our main packages guide keeps a duration table updated.
Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad: does your city change the price?
The package you buy is the same product in all three cities; what changes is the flight. Karachi usually offers the widest choice of direct and one-stop departures to Jeddah and Madinah, and competition on those routes often makes its fares the keenest of the three (estimated pattern, checked November 2026). Lahore has strong direct-flight coverage too, and most Punjabi pilgrims will find its total package prices close to Karachi’s once fares settle. Islamabad pilgrims sometimes pay a small premium on fares (estimated), or choose to depart from Lahore when a group booking makes that cheaper overall. In all three cities the golden rule is identical: the operator’s name matters more than the departure airport, so verify the operator on the MORA attested list before comparing a single rupee.
What pushes a quote up or down
Four levers move every quote. Distance from the Haram is the biggest, as above. Season is second: Ramadan can double an economy price, and the last ten nights sit in a class of their own, while Muharram and Safar are the softest months of the year. Sharing is third: moving from quad to double sharing adds a clear premium at every hotel tier. And the airline is fourth: direct flights at kind hours cost more than one-stop routings with long layovers, which matter if you are travelling with elderly parents or small children. Ask for every quote in writing with hotel names, distances, flight numbers and the refund policy; a serious operator will hand it over without argument.
A worked example: a family of four
Sharing changes the maths for families. Four adults in one quad room on an economy package pay close to the per-person rate four times over, an estimated PKR 1.1 million to 1.5 million for the fortnight, because the room is already shared to its limit. The same family in a 5-star hotel often pays less than four full double rates, because one family room or suite replaces two doubles; ask the operator to price both ways. Children complicate quotes in a good way: infants and young children without a bed are charged far less by most operators, so insist the quote states each traveller’s price separately rather than as one family lump sum.
The bottom line
Budget an estimated PKR 270,000 to 390,000 for a sensible economy fortnight, and roughly double that for genuine 5-star comfort, then confirm against live prices in the week you book. A quote far below the economy floor is not a bargain; it is the oldest warning sign in this market.
