Zong Dragons of Asia 2026: The Campaign Behind the Gold
The winning entry, AIsa Hai Future, blended artificial and augmented intelligence with Pakistani creativity, reimagining the nation’s digital future through a distinctive, customer-focused brand narrative. Rather than advertising speeds and spectrum, the campaign told a story about what 5G and AI could mean for people’s everyday lives, a creative choice the regional judges recognized as outstanding marketing work.
The Gold continues a strong awards run for the brand. The international recognition builds on Zong’s success at the Dragons of Pakistan Awards earlier this year, and places its marketing work among the best in the region’s marketing and communications industry.
Explaining 5G Without the Jargon
Backed by the global scale and technology leadership of China Mobile, Zong launched its 5G journey with a clear purpose: to demonstrate what 5G can truly mean for Pakistan, beyond faster speeds. Under the AIsa Hai Future tagline, the company positioned 5G as an enabler of a smarter, more connected and digitally empowered future.
The 5G Launch and AIsa Hai Future campaigns that earned Zong its Zong Dragons of Asia 2026 honors brought this vision to life by simplifying complex technology and making the benefits of 5G more relatable to everyday audiences. Through creative storytelling, consumer education and simplified communication around emerging AI technologies, Zong focused on building greater awareness of how these technologies can improve the way people live, work and connect. The approach also supports Pakistan’s broader digital transformation ambitions, aligning the company’s communication agenda with the national vision of a more digitally inclusive society.
Five Awards Across the Board
The Gold in Creative Excellence was the headline, but the Zong Dragons of Asia 2026 tally stretched further. The company took home five awards in total: two Gold, one Bronze and two Black Dragon awards, celebrating the creative and marketing excellence behind its 5G Launch and Aisa Hai Future campaigns, alongside recognition for its Zong My5 2025 and Pro Max Hattrick campaigns.
The recognition for Zong My5 2025 and Pro Max Hattrick shows the breadth of the company’s communications strategy, combining technology, consumer insight and creative execution to turn products and propositions into simple, relevant experiences, while communicating the strength and performance of its network to customers.
What Zong’s Leaders Said
Commenting on the Zong Dragons of Asia 2026 achievement, Hina Ali, Head of Marketing Communication at Zong, said the Gold was a proud moment for the company. She said great creativity begins with understanding people: what matters to them, what resonates with them, and how the brand’s proposition can become meaningful in their lives. With AIsa Hai Future, she said, the team set out to move beyond conventional telecom advertising and tell a story that brings together the possibilities of 5G and AI with the creativity and aspirations of Pakistan.
Zong Marketing Head Sajid Munir said the five awards validated the company’s belief that 5G communication must go beyond talking about technology and demonstrate how technology creates real value for people. Through AIsa Hai Future, he said, Zong is bringing together 5G, AI, customer insight and creativity to make the future more understandable, relevant and accessible to Pakistan.
A Regional Stage for Pakistani Brands
The Zong Dragons of Asia 2026 recognition also reflects Zong’s evolution as a future-focused, AI-driven digital brand. By combining technology, innovation and data-led insights, the company continues to develop more relevant customer experiences and strengthen its approach to brand communication, engaging customers more meaningfully. By earning Gold against regional competition, Zong demonstrated that Pakistani brands can deliver internationally recognized creative work when they combine a clear brand purpose with a genuine understanding of their audiences.
Pakistan’s telecom sector had more than one reason to celebrate in Kuala Lumpur. Ufone also picked up honors at the same awards ceremony, as covered in our report on its Gold and Black Dragon wins. Zong carried further momentum into the regional contest from its historic double win at the Asian Experience Awards 2026, where it secured two Pakistan telecom honors for brand and digital experience. Corporate award momentum in the country’s business sector continued elsewhere too, with NBP winning a sustainable infrastructure award at the ABF Awards 2026.
The Zong Dragons of Asia 2026 win adds another chapter to the company’s push to own the 5G era in Pakistan, underscoring its evolution from a connectivity provider into a technology services enterprise powered by next-generation connectivity, AI and digital capabilities.
